Synopsis:
Half a year after the terrorist bomb at the airport. Inspector Kuraki Naotake of the Public Security’s First Special Service Division has had no rest ever since he lost his wife Chihiro in the bomb explosion in downtown Tokyo. He gets in touch with a freelance writer, Nanami Shiori, to obtain information on what happened to Chihiro in a 72-hour gap in the Public Security’s top secret Glarke Alpha mission. At that moment, an energy facility in Hokkaido is blown up and Sergeant Akeboshi Miki, who is now with the Public Security’s Fourth Foreign Affairs Section, takes up the investigation. She sees the likeness of a suspicious person spotted at the time of the explosion and is stunned. He resembles her father whom she has been searching for all this while. On the other hand, detective Osugi Ryota finds a dead body killed with the same modus operandi as the professional killer Mozu who should be dead… The three of them meet again at the start of a new case that will rock the country.
