A dramatization of the formative years for the actress Mori Mitsuko (1920-2012), from her early career as a singer and radio voice actor to her work on the Osaka stage to her being brought to Tokyo where, after many years in supporting roles, she finally had the chance to tackle a leading role. In the meantime though, while her public life leapt from one success to another, in private she lead a surprisingly lonely life... in the Special, Mori Mitsuko o Ikita Onna!
