Synopsis
One day, Minami Mayu (Kinami Haruka), the manager of Himura Yuki of the comedy duo, Banana Man, suddenly discovers that he is in a critical situation. His life has been targeted. Himura is appearing in the third part of the Great Escape Series on Himura Channel which is being transmitted through the internet from a secret base that Mayu does not even know about. The time limit is just a few hours. In 9 hours and 30 minutes, he will be submerged in water. Detectives Kuroda Manabu (Cunning Takeyama) and Nikaido Atsushi (Wada Masato) from Nishi Wangan Police Precinct pursue the truth. As the investigation proceeds, eight popular entertainers, who were together with Himura for the filming of the TV programme just before that, are suspected. They are Miyasako Hiroyuki of Ameagari Kesshitai, Hakata Daikichi of Hakata Hanamaru Daikichi, Shitara Osamu of Banana Man, Bakarhythm, Date Mikio of Sandwichman, Tokui Yoshimi of Tutorial, Ito Asako and Wakabayashi Masayasu of Audrey. The suspects’ alibis, feelings toward Himura and motives for committing the crime are gradually revealed by the detectives. And Himura’s true self comes into sight. Synopsis
The dead body of a young woman is discovered in a park right in front of Kasugano Police Precinct in the heart of Tokyo. All her organs have been taken out. While a investigation task force is being set up, ace detective Inukai Hayato of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division starts to investigate together with a rookie detective from Saitama Prefectural Police, Kotegawa Kazuya, who has just come to the division for training. The brutal way in which victim was murdered discomforts Inukai. He is never swayed by his own feelings and is feared for seeing through the lies of others. The divorced Inukai has a daughter of elementary school-going age, Toyosaki Sayaka. She is suffering from a serious kidney disease and is waiting for a transplant. Early surgery is encouraged by her attending physician, Majikina Takahiko and Majikina's wife and anesthetist, Yoko. Takano Chiharu is introduced as the university hospital's transplant coordinator in charge of Sayaka. Meanwhile, a statement which seems to ridicule the bewildered task force, is sent to a TV station by the criminal who calls himself ‘Jack the Ripper’. The words “I'm enjoying this work” are written down. Then second and third crimes occur in the same way. It starts to seem similar to theatrical crime. Synopsis
Sakata Sadato (Kamikawa Takaya), who has his law practice in Tokyo, was a public prosecutor until 12 years ago. He resigned from his job at the District Public Prosecutors’ Office in order to carry out his own “justice”. His justice is to “let crimes be judged properly”. He specialises in criminal cases and has a reputation as a man of ability. One day, Sakata accepts a sudden and unexpected request, and sets foot in Yonezaki for the first time in many years with rookie lawyer, Kosaka Chihiro (Kurashina Kana). The person Sakata has been asked to defend is Shimazu Kuniaki (Osugi Ren), who was arrested and charged with a murder that occurred at a Yonezaki hotel. The start of the public hearing is the next day. Shimazu has extensive business in Yonezaki including a construction company, and is an influential man in the area. The victim is Hamada Mitsuko (Konno Mahiru), a woman whom he was rumoured to be having an affair with. All evidence including the fingerprints, bloodstains and security camera footage indicate that Shimazu is the criminal. He considered their relationship fooling around. Everyone believes Mitsuko pressed Shimazu to marry and that he stabbed her to death during a quarrel. However, Shimazu declares his innocence at a meeting with Sakata and Chihiro. He seems to have been searching for a capable lawyer and arrived at Sakata after indignantly dismissing his previous lawyer for wanting him to plead mitigating circumstances because that is unassailable. Chihiro assesses the case as a completely hopeless one, but Sakata has an intuition that something is being hidden behind the case and readily agrees to defend him. In truth, Yonezaki was once the district where Sakata worked as a public prosecutor and is also the place where the case that led to his resignation occurred. His superior at that time, Tsutsui Yoshio (Ibu Masato), has now been promoted to head of the Trial Division. The person in charge of this trial is Sakata’s peer, the ace public prosecutor Shouji Mao (Matsushita Yuki). The trial begins the next day. Mao reveals Mitsuko’s divorce with her husband, the general practitioner Watase Koji (Ishiguro Ken) after being immersed in the affair with Shimazu and skillfully corners the defence. She advices Sakata that it would be prudent for him to alter his tactics to seek a reduced sentence instead of recklessly insisting upon Shimazu’s innocence. Meanwhile, Sakata learns that Mitsuko’s son, an elementary school student, died in an accident seven years ago. He begins to reconsider the victim’s past in order to get through to the truth. However, there is no change in the situation which is not in his favour. Then, at the closing argument, the “last witness”, whom Sakata had summoned, takes the stand at last and an astonishing truth emerges … ..

Synopsis
Matsui runs a benriya (odd jobs for hire) in a small nameless Hokkaido village. Umemoto has divorced 3 times. Screenwriter Takeyama (Masaki Okada) wants to go to Furano, but the bus to Furano becomes stranded due to a snowstorm. Takeyama stops at a bar to eat something, but at the bar he loses his wallet and cellphone. Takeyama is now obliged to stay in the small and nameless village.

Plot
Kitamura Kazuki, reprising his role as Madarame Kyutaro, the former swordplay mentor turned ronin, with his feline companion, Tamanojo. Kyutaro, along with the cat, has returned to Edo after visiting his family back in his homeland. He intends to once again try finding a job as a Samurai in the city. However, trouble awaits him at his tenement housing. His old landlord has assigned his daughter Kikuno (Mori Kanna) as the new landlady. Kiku reiterates her father's rule of "no cats allowed." She has an acute nose and suspects Madarame of hiding a cat from her. Further exacerbating his dilemma, Kyutaro discovers that there have been numerous cats living in his room since he's been away! Nekomiya's proprietress Oshichi (Yokoyama Megumi) tells him to keep the cats since they will bring him luck... Meanwhile, Kyutaro has to find a job so he goes to an employment agency and meets with clerk Tenbiki Shiro (Moto Fuyuki) who tries to find him a job. There are also additional people in town: a new arrogant constable Kameyama Tsurujiro (Nishina Takashi), and a new neighbor, Sasuke (Sano Yasuomi) who seems to be vying for Tamanojo's affection. And then, there is also Kyutaro's strict mother-in-law, Tae (Kino Hana), who is unhappy with her daughter, Oshizu (Yokoyama Megumi) and son-in-law's arrangement...
